Falls are the primary cause of injury and fatal injury among older adults. More than one-third of people over the age of 65 fall each year resulting in 3 million admissions to the emergency department. Additionally, older adults who fall once are two to three times more likely to fall again. Even falls without injury can cause fear of falling, leading to physical decline, depression, and social isolation. This webinar will provide you with practical interventions to reduce falls and hospital readmissions.

Learning Objectives:

1. Identifying Common Risk Factors for Falls

2. Evidence Based Strategies for Fall Prevention

3. Personalized Fall Prevention Strategies

Webinar log-in information will be emailed to all registrants by Monday, August 18, 2025.
